I used to own these cycling shorts, complete with a real pocket on the butt.  I even got compliments on them back in 1993. The US snowboarding team’s Goretex distressed jeans are a definite step up, though.  Woot for progress on the fashion front.

– Memo to NBC: Show the Games live, already! NBC treats coverage like a scarce resource and it shouldn’t be that way. They have plenty of channels and time slots to show every sport anyone could want to watch.  I guess the high-paying ad dollars are the thing in short demand.
