Microsoft gets more hostile towards Yahoo, seeks to replace board » VentureBeat

File this under “that would never happen to us”. Microsoft may try to replace Yahoo’s entire Board, which is possible because the Board is elected all at once instead of in yearly increments.

Even 6 months ago it may have seemed like a remote chance to the Yahoo Board that someone could attempt a hostile takeover. Bet they wish now they’d planned long ago for the worst case.
