Live bike racing on the web, if you can stand the stuttering

The Tour of California is available from start to finish in a live streaming format.  This is great.  Actually getting the feed without constant bandwidth stutters is a different matter, though.  It is basically impossible to follow the commentary when it is broken up continually.  

I’m not sure whether the problem is on the sending end or my receiving end.  Maybe I just need my own personal, portable T1 line.
