The Morning Benders - “Pull Up The Roots” (Talking Heads cover)

Prolific band The Morning Benders have released a whole grab bag of wonderful covers under the name The Bedroom Covers.  Lest you think they’re all about bedding someone, the title is literal: these cover songs were all recorded in one of the band members’ bedroom. The songs aren’t polished or perfect but they are beautiful in their simplicity (recorded with just one mic and a laptop, using mostly acoustic guitars and shakers), and the band’s love for the music comes through loud and clear.

What could be better?  Oh yes, they’re giving away all of it for free!
